The perfect theme music for all high school and college students who were a part of the chess club; in other words, all the nerdy, unpopular kids of the world will be attracted to Weston's Got Beat Up, which has the reoccurring theme of developing crushes and getting dumped. Along with songs such as "No Kind of Superstar" and the title track, which deal with getting picked in grade school, it's pretty obvious that Weston is still coping with childhood traumas. But since Weston present their message in such an uplifting way, it would be impossible for one to feel self-pity while toe-tapping along with this happy-go-lucky, silly pop-punk. Even if Weston's music is somewhat tragic, it's still a lot of fun.
