Ghetto Soul Sessions is a bit of a misleading title, especially for an album solid with tech-house and elements of progressive house scattered about. Title aside, this is a continuous mix by Mega Men that is a 70-minute excursion into "ghetto soul" territory. It's uptempo, high-paced, and consistently energetic throughout, but that also might be Ghetto Soul Sessions' biggest flaw. The lack of dynamics within the mix tends to make this difficult listening for any environment aside from a party, but maybe that's not such a bad thing either.
