A little on the short side (10 tracks), but with 50% of them coming from either Out of Hand or Your Place or Mine, this is as filler-free and succinct a career summation of this great artist available. Ironically, much of this sounds similar to what has made Garth Brooks and his ilk millionaires many times over, and Stewart (who was truly ahead of his time) was nearly forgotten. No one ever said life (especially in the music business) was fair, but a few spins of this and you will soon understand that nearly 20 years later, Stewart still stands taller than virtually all of the country performers making a mint from imitating his style. A perfect place to start.
