Following their mixing duties on the Nip/Tuck original soundtrack and Bloom compilation, Gabriel & Dresden is the self-titled debut album from the San Francisco progressive trance duo. Influenced by the likes of alternative acts Depeche Mode and the Cure as well as club DJs James Holden and Sasha, the 2006 LP, released through their own Organized Nature label, combines vintage guitars, Moog synths, and electro beats throughout its continuously mixed 12 tracks. Featuring vocal contributions from the Sarah McLachlan-esque Molly Bancroft and British producer Jan Burton, it includes the singles "Tracking Treasure Down," "Dangerous Power," and the double A-sided "Mass Repeat"/"Eleven."
