Some inventive drumming and keyboarding are heard on this disc, along with a pleasing schmaltziness to the tunes and an earnest, imperfect lead singer. It's also neat to hear the electronics totally in control -- nearly every real banda instrument is mimicked here by keyboards. The material is kind of bland, and like most durangense releases, after 14 songs, you feel more than satisfied. This may not be the "fuego" that Trono hoped to ignite, but it is a well-crafted genre piece.
