AllMusic Review by

Rebound Records' Love at the Movies is a ten-track compilation of love songs, all from films and most part of the PolyGram Records' vaults. Although it spans four decades, from the '60s to the '90s, most of the record is devoted to material from the early '80s, including Dan Hartman's "I Can Dream About You," and Stephen Bishop's "It Might Be You," Joe Cocker & Jennifer Warnes' "Up Where We Belong," Christopher Cross' "Arthur's Theme," and Diana Ross & Lionel Richie's "Endless Love." The remainder of the disc runs the gamut from Dusty Springfield's "The Look of Love" to Wet Wet Wet's "Love Is All Around." Consquently, it's a little uneven, but enough good moments flow together to make it worth its budget price.
