Exit is a pretty well-appointed set for fans of European pop. Throughout, Alice coos detachedly in Italian as softly attractive electronic beats patter in the background; between Alice's studied vocal and the soothing-as-silk synths, the album often suggests Sarah McClachlan in a duet with Enigma. "Dimmi Di Si" and the title track offer a polite mix of these subtle club beats and Alice's vocal, while "Open Your Eyes" plays her Italian lyrics off the warm voice of Morcheeba's Skye Edwards. The sure-fire international hit also contains Exit's strongest hook.
