AllMusic Review by

Dreamer's Holiday has one of Perry Como's best and best-known rockers, the 1958 hit "Kewpie Doll," and a varied assortment of songs ranging from "Tumbling Tumbleweeds" (performed with the Sons of the Pioneers!) to "To Know You (Is to Love You)." A couple of other minor hits join the album tracks and B-sides on this budget collection, the title of which may have been inspired by Como's 1957 album Dream Along With Me, a Camden budget album that became a big hit. Only "Just Born (To Be Your Baby)" approximates the mild rock style of "Kewpie Doll" -- the rest of the album is in Como's typical pop vein with an allotment of ballads. "Rollin' Stone" shares its title with the hit by Como's former singing partners, the Fontane Sisters, but is a different song. The album was reissued on a budget CD in 1999.
