Three sound-alike versions of Nine Inch Nails' first single make for an unsurreptitious debut via TVT Records. The album mix (not featured) is superior in most ways to these reworkings. Besides, all three of these tracks would be featured later on the 1990 Head Like a Hole EP. In short, the Down in It single is completely superfluous and useful only to NIN completists.
