AllMusic Review by

In the 1950s, doo wop treated love, devotion, and yearning largely through the eyes of teenagers, and rarely has a genre had such romantic innocence at its center. This set features several rare and obscure examples of this street-corner style, including the Paradons' "I Had a Dream," the Premiers' "Valerie," and the Ripples' "Please Let Me Love You," among others.
