AllMusic Review by

The Dixieland Ramblers, a part-time group formed in 1957, had not been active for quite a few years when former bandmembers clarinetist Michael Bennett and drummer Tom Stevenson recorded this CD. Adding some of the players from the Dukes of Dixieland (most notably trumpeter Kevin Clark), the ensemble performs 14 Christmas songs. The playing is generally excellent even if the occasional touches of humor border on the cornball. The music is mostly Dixieland, with funky rhythms sometimes utilized, and in general the results are colorful and swinging, making this a worthwhile date of Dixieland Christmas music.
