Released in 2002, Divas del Rock is a 12-track collection of contemporary Latin women working in a pop/rock vein, either as solo artists or with groups. It's not as heavy as Latin rock stalwarts like Malo or Santana, but not as light or sugary as pop divas like Gloria Estefan, either. Highlights include "Mirala, Miralo" by Alejandra Guzman, "Hoy No Quiero" by Julieta Venegas, and "El Estuche" by Colombia's Los Aterciopelados.
