A grinding bassline like a randy Catwoman prowling Club Bang Bang, DJ Sneak's "Disco Erotica" falls back to the golden age of Chicago house when the city was on fire with club-based revolutionaries -- or at the very least, with a bunch of teenagers finding new ways to score. Whichever, this is a nasty, pre-techno clomp that throws loops all across the room until you're left wondering if this is re-appropriated paradise or total crap. Indeed, "Disco Erotica" manages to sound almost exactly like what the title sounds suggests. Daft Punk must be wetting themselves.
