This quiet and introspective set mostly spotlights David Friesen's bass (which is occasionally bowed). The majority of the selections are duets with Uwe Kropinski either on guitar or percussion. One song features Friesen's shakuhachi, and the team of Flora Purim and Airto makes a couple of cameo appearances. While some of the first few selections are of strong interest, the later numbers often sound incomplete or are sound explorations, and never really build to a strong idea or rise above the level of merely providing atmosphere.
