Deep Lust's lo-fi punk rumble seems a bit out-of-date, like a band that has been in an air-raid shelter since 1982. Singer Alison Wolfe's yelp and Tommy Orr's monotonous guitar riffs might have been funny and cathartic back then, but it seems like things have moved on without this band realizing it. In the end, colorless rants like "Peeing Song" and "Changeling" are more annoying than anything else.
