The Rodeo label's Dance Classics series appeals most to fans of 12" and otherwise extended mixes of club singles. Many of the selections are otherwise unavailable or hard to find on compact disc. A fair portion of the tracks are mastered from vinyl, so the series won't get much love from audiophiles, and the packaging leaves a lot to be desired as well. A triple-disc compilation, Dance Classics, Vols. 21 & 22 includes Evelyn King's "Love Come Down," Jody Watley's "Don't You Want Me," the Fatback Band's "I Found Lovin'," Keni Burke's "Risin' to the Top," and the Jones Girls' "Nights Over Egypt."
