AllMusic Review by

Infant and children's toy company Fisher-Price offers instrumental versions of classic children's songs with an energizing, electronic twist on the compilation Dance, Baby, Dance! Bouncy Beats for Little Feet. The collection begins on a subtler note, with lullabies like "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" and "Hush, Little Baby," but starting with its take on "Popcorn" the tempo picks up, as though opening the door to a babies and parents-only dance club. Over the course of its 22 tracks, Dance, Baby, Dance! puts this spin on folk songs ("Camptown Races," "I've Been Working on the Railroad," "Yankee Doodle"), nursery rhymes ("The Itsy Bitsy Spider," "Mary Had a Little Lamb," "Old MacDonald Had a Farm"), and singing games ("B-I-N-G-O," "If You're Happy and You Know It," "London Bridge"), with some surprise interpretations along the way (an electro-Caribbean-tinged "Michael Finnegan," a poppy blues guitar-infused "Pop! Goes the Weasel").
