Do any young musicians still remember 1976-1977 punk? Here's some; New Jersey's A Priori attempt social statements set to that very style, and it's not half bad, though it seems more potential than finished goods. There's still a lot of tightening up necessary for this to really get clicking, particularly in the rhythm section, which is ambitious in its parts, but isn't really in the groove yet. As well, the melodies could be sung a little sharper; they're there. But what the hey, many have risen from far less, and the attitude and desire seem to be there, so let's encourage them to keep working. Good punk is in short supply, so there's plenty of room.
