AllMusic Review by

There isn't really an underlying theme or concept to the five CDs in this budget box set, save that each of them is full of country classics in one way or another, either as songs or performances, or both. Collected here are such cornerstone tracks as Charlie Rich's "The Most Beautiful Girl in the World,"Don Gibson's elegant, pop-leaning "I Can't Stop Loving You," Hank Snow's "I'm Movin' On," Freddy Fender's version of Hank Williams' "Jambalaya (On the Bayou)," Jim Reeves' graceful "Have I Told You Lately That I Love You," and Willie Nelson's beautiful "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain," along with dozens of other memorable sides. It's a bit like tuning into a classic country radio station, if one can actually find such a thing anymore. Each of the discs is also available as an individual release.
