With 20 songs from 1966-1968, this summarizes the duo's stint with Musicor/Dynamo, in which they offered fair but on the whole unremarkable New York soul. As was true of much of their prior material with Sue, their format often recalls that of Ike & Tina Turner. The production is better and more varied than their Sue sides, but the material and delivery aren't as strong as the Turners were at their best. Note that the version of "Mockingbird" which leads off the disc is not the original 1963 hit, but an inferior 1968 remake. This compilation has been superseded in value by the 2001 Kent CD anthology, The Dynamo Duo, which has four more tracks from this same era, although Count the Days does have one song not present on The Dynamo Duo, "I Got It."
