In case the title College (no, it's not a remake of the Buster Keaton silent classic from 1927) didn't clue potential filmgoers in that the movie in question is an adolescent gross-out comedy, the movie poster -- and soundtrack album cover -- should: it depicts a T-shirt- and jeans-clad man, his back to the camera, crouched down with his head stuck in a toilet, presumably vomiting. For the music to this film, the filmmakers have assembled a collection of contemporary pop music in various styles by obscure performers. Ben Kweller gets things started promisingly with his alternative rock ballad "Penny on a Train."
