AllMusic Review by

Presented in the form of a digital mix by DJ Strobe (i.e., via computer, not turntables), the first volume of Clubmixed splits its two styles between two discs. The first disc is predominantly progressive trance in nature, containing the Benny Benassi remix of Goldfrapp's "Strict Machine," Narcotic Thrust's "I Like It," Ferry Corsten's "Right of Way," and JX's "Restless." On the second disc, progressive and deep house take over, with Benny Blanco's "3am," the Joey Negro remix of Roy Ayers' "Sugar," Steve Angello's "Voices," Junior Jack's "Stupidisco," and Gaudino's "Destination Unknown" leading the way. There are worse ways to gather up a good number of early-2000s dance hits.
