AllMusic Review by

The eleven selections on Rebound's Classic Rock: 80's certainly don't fit into the conventional definition of "classic rock." After all, "classic rock, " by most definitions, ended somewhere in the '70s; the '80s were a time of New Wave and album-oriented hard rock. That's exactly what you get here -- "Owner of a Lonely Heart," "Everybody Wants to Rule the World," "Call Me," "Addicted to Love," "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)," "Something About You," "In a Big Country" and "New Sensation" only share a decade, but combined they make for a very entertaining budget-line disc.
