AllMusic Review by

Circle Game: Folk Music for Kids features a number of folk classics re-interpreted by relatively lesser-known performers in a style catering toward children. There's no shortage of classic songs here, some of the more noteworthy being Bob Dylan's "Mr. Tambourine Man" (performed by Tahkus Ekedal), Paul Simon's "59th Street Bridge Song (Feelin' Groovy)" (performed by Priya Francis), Joni Mitchell's "Both Sides Now" (performed by Ekedal), Cat Stevens' "Moon Shadow" (performed by Michael Bannett), and Carole King's "You've Got a Friend" (performed by Shoshana Bush). This album is both enjoyable to parents who grew up with this music in the '60s and '70s and also to children who are unfamiliar with these many wonderful songs.
