Are you just tired of the same old Christmas tunes? Here's something that's sure to turn some heads: many of your favorite (or not) Christmas tunes performed on multitude of Indian instruments in a range of styles. Treatments range from hindustani and carnatic (north and south Indian classical styles, respectively) to qawwali and bhangra. Some of the tracks get close to kitschy but never cross the line. In addition to adding a much needed dose of fresh interpretation to the Christmas canon, sales benefit Helping Hands, a non-profit organization helping India's underprivileged. Fun stuff.
