From the re-released UNESCO World Atlas series, this is almost the only recording of Hispano-Chilean traditional music. Included are religious music, including parade-dances influenced by the Andean Indians, various types of guitar-accompanied ballads, harp-backed cuecas, and more. Thorough notes are included, though the English translation is eccentric and in a couple of places positively cryptic.
