AllMusic Review by

One in a series of records made by keyboardist/vibraphonist/percussionist Victor Feldman with his Generation Band, this obscure album finds him utilizing some of the musicians from the L.A. Express (including Tom Scott on tenor, alto, soprano and lyricon, guitarist Robben Ford and bassist Max Bennett) along with other studio musicians, plus his son Trevor Feldman on drums. Most memorable is "Chasin' Sanborn" (which finds Scott hinting at altoist David Sanborn) and Tom Scott's playing in general. Not all of the numbers are equally rewarding (a drum synthesizer feature is frivolous, and Scott's lyricon playing on two songs is quite faceless) and the music does seem a bit dated, although the record as a whole does have its interesting moments.
