AllMusic Review by

Pressed in a limited edition of only 100 copies or so, the Bo Street Runners' four-song debut EP is routine if acceptable early British R&B, set aside a little from the norm by the presence of electric keyboards. Three of the four cuts are routine covers of familiar tunes ("I Just Want to Make Love to You," "Shame, Shame, Shame," "Lonely Avenue"), but the fourth, "Bo Street Runner," is a quite good and exciting track in the early Rolling Stones/Pretty Things style, complete with maracas and driving harmonica. The original EP is so rare that it commands a price of more than $1,000 if you can find it, but fortunately the best track, "Bo Street Runner," has shown up on specialty various-artist compilation reissues.
