There are many rarities on this dance-band album, the second of two LPs in JSP's valuable series. The music is not as essential as violinist Joe Venuti's small-group sides of the period but there are some strong moments and the English JSP label wisely reissued everything. Five of these titles are from 1930 while the remaining eleven are from 1933. The personnel on the latter titles are mostly unknown but the musicianship is first rate. Overall this is not an essential acquisition but fans of the era will want to get this anyway.
