This three-disc box set of (mostly) Nat King Cole selections includes volumes one and two of With All His Friends and a third disc of rarities. What this means is that a lot of these tracks are sung by artists like Frankie Laine, Dale Henderson, and Edison Riggs rather than by Cole, although he contributes piano to most cuts. The sound is sometimes sketchy, and it varies from track to track, leading one to suspect it was transferred straight from vinyl. Hardcore Cole collectors may find something to treasure here, but casual listeners should avoid this one.
