AllMusic Review by

Kimiko Itoh is a competent but average singer featured in a live date, brilliantly accompanied by pianist Makoto Ozone, who constantly proves to be more interesting. One problem is her occasional tendency to slip back into her native accent, which proves rather distracting. Her best tracks include a dramatic interpretation of Astor Piazzolla's rarely heard "Skylark" and a joyous run through Toots Thielemans' timeless "Bluesette." Itoh is obviously a hard worker, but she faces a lot of strong competition in her field.
