After the critically acclaimed release of Forevernevermore on the U.K. imprint Peacefrog, Kenny Dixon, Jr. returns once again to deliver the goods. Simply put, this is a solid piece of hi-tech Detroit house-funk on par with some of the finest moments in his discography. Similar in texture to the Rhythm is Rhythm classic "Nude Photo," Dixon provides warm analog bass tones and crisp drum programming fused with the gritty soul of urban Detroit to present a composition suitable for hot sweaty nights out or home listening. This one-sided EP is worth the journey in seeking out, because like most releases on the KDJ label, once out of stock, they most likely will not see the light of day again for some time.
