An AmRep rock influence is apparent throughout 3 Way Grady's style. Thick, heavy guitars, non-stop distortion, and coarse vocals round up the trio's debut EP. The result is similar to the Melvins without the grim lyrics or Mudhoney without the drunk-rock sloppiness. With their own style of rocking out that lacks any cheesy guitar solos or added electronic undertones, 3 Way Grady would have been a definite contender for Sub Pop Records if this record came out during the grunge explosion.
