1960's Love Songs has a fairly promising track listing that features British Invasion and teen idol singles. However, just two of the songs here appear in their original versions: the Ivy League's "Funny How Love Can Be," and the Four Pennies' "Juliet," both of which sound especially good compared to the woeful re-recordings that surround them. Despite some interesting selections, there are many other compilations that do feature the original versions of these songs, making this collection a waste of time and money.
