On this 1987 classic solo debut, Jody re-established her music career as a solo artist, which she started out in the group Shalamar. After leaving the group, Jody released her solo debut single Looking For A New Love, which immediately became a smash hit and was named one of the biggest pop and R&B singles in 1987. After the success of her solo debut single, Jody released her second single Still A Thrill, which wasn't successful as Looking For A New Love, although it charted fairly on the R&B charts. Her next two singles, the dance hits Don't You Want Me and Some Kind of Lover chart successfully on the Pop and Dance Charts in its remixed form in 1987/1988. As for the final single Most Of All, didn't chart well on the pop charts but did fare better on the R&B charts. Despite this, all five singles were smash hits and stand out tracks are the sensual Love Injection and the duet with George Michael Learn To Say No.
