Wild Nine created new-sprung slots of a vigorous fusion emphasizing hard techno picks with cryptic features of trash guitar strains. Emerging out of the New York music scene, they delivered new tunes to the alternative metal style. The band's leading duo, consisting of William Caige and Jaf, first met while playing with Bodyswallow. After that band broke up, main vocalist Caige and guitarist Jaf decided to constitute Wild Nine. The additions of John Maniatas (bass), Jay Quevedo (keyboards), and drummer Adonis Sanchez completed the lineup of the contriving rock squad. The eponymous Wild Nine showed up as their first album in late 2000. The self-released record promoted their work even more, not only on local radio stations, but also on the Internet. Appearing on several rock shows and contests, the New York crew gradually began to acquire a solid fan base.
