South Florida had never seen much success from its hardcore scene. Obscure bands playing at small clubs all over the map. Where Fear And Weapons Meet, from Fort Lauderdale, landed on the national scene with their 1998 self-titled EP recorded and produced in South Florida. In 1999 they finally released a full length album (Weapon) on Revelation Records, the original hardcore label, and again kept the recording local. The band has the traditional sound and rhythm of hardcore but perform with profound respect for their genre and the fans that come out and support it. Their passion is felt through Alex Roundhouse's vocals and the sturdy melodies of his band. Guitarist John Wylie has been a magnate of the local scene and Where Fear and Weapons Meet is his second national band. He also runs his own independent record label Eulogy Records. Comin' Correct was issued in 2000 and Unstoppable followed on Triple Crown early the next year.
