Singer Wendy López was born in March 14 of 1974 in Redlands, CA. At the age of four, López started studying music, taking piano lessons, and learning how to play guitar. As a child, Wendy López used to sing in a local church. Years later, López was participating in a high school's vocal group. That same passion for singing allowed her to be in a San Diego University's chorus for two years, having the opportunity of touring the U.K. After studying Castilian at Málaga's University, López started getting interest for the Hispanic community. That reason and her religious tradition drove her to travel to South America as a missionary. While living in Quito, Ecuador, the singer signed up to Arbol Records, releasing her first album, called Entre el Cielo y la Tierra, which includes acoustic tunes in English and Spanish.
