Tommy Knocker started playing bass in a London-based rock band before getting involved in jazz, inspired by prominent contemporary musicians. Captivated by the music rooted in the African-American traditions, Tommy Knocker attended jazz classes at the Chicester College. In 1993, he turned to dance music while experimenting with electronic sounds. Beeswax released his first EP and later Intercom Recordings signed him up. In August 2002, his track "All for Love" reached the U.K. Top 40 Dance Singles and Albums.
