Formed in North Carolina, USA, this hard rock band shortened their name from Sugarcreek in 1986 to avoid any association with the country music scene. Comprising Jerry West (guitar, vocals), Rick Lee (keyboards, vocals), Mike Barber (bass), Tim Clark (vocals, percussion) and Lynn Samples (drums), they specialized in highly melodic pomp-rock, making extensive use of four-part vocal harmonies. Influenced by Styx, Kansas and Journey, they have released two exceptional albums on shoestring budgets. In 1987 John Harwell and Robbie Hegler replaced Samples and Barber on drums and bass, respectively.
