Sue Hart began singing jazz in her native California, where she gathered a following through her live performances. She began writing her own material, and eventually decided to record her own album from the comfort of a motorhome. Travelling around the country with her husband, they build on some basic tracks they recorded in California and recorded her voice in New Mexico, Utah, Minnesota, and several other locations around the country. Coming back to California for touch ups and dubbing, the resulting album was released on her own Sat Tat Records in the summer of 2002.
