Sara Michelle is a French pop singer who made her solo debut in 2009 after rising to fame as a member of the teen pop group KidToniK. Born in 1994 in Plivot, Marne, France, and based in Paris, she made her commercial recording debut in 2008 as a member of KidToniK with the Top Five electro-pop hit "Aller Plus Loin." While the group's full-length album debut, Aller Plus Loin (2008), released a few months later on the label Heben Music, wasn't especially popular, charting for only 11 weeks and climbing no higher than number 50, it spawned a series of Top Ten follow-up hit singles with "Left & Right" and "Jusqu'au Bout." Separate from her bandmates in KidToniK, Michelle made her solo debut in 2009 with the breakout hit "Je Veux Vivre," which peaked at number 11 on the French singles chart. She then made her full-length album debut with Vivre (2009) on Heben Music and scored another hit with the follow-up single, "Ma Besta," which reached the Top 30.
