Miguel Guerreiro is a Portuguese children's pop singer who made his Top Ten album debut at ten years of age in 2009 with Eu Quero Aquela Estrela after rising to fame a year earlier on the television show Uma Canção Para Ti. Born in Setúbal, Portugal, he appeared as a contestant on the first season of Uma Canção Para Ti in 2008 and competed against other Portuguese children between the ages of nine and 15. He ended up winning first place and was offered a recording deal with the Farol Música label. Guerreiro made his full-length debut in 2009 with Eu Quero Aquela Estrela, an album comprised of children's pop cover versions of songs by well-known Portuguese music singers including José Cid, António Variações, Rui Veloso, Jorge Palma, Carlos do Carmo, Amália Rodrigues, and others. A commercial success, Eu Quero Aquela Estrela reached the Top Ten of the Portuguese albums chart.
