This Toto -styled, German rock quartet was put together by former Tokyo guitarist Robby Musenbilcher and vocalist/guitarist Roko Kohlmeyer after working together as session musicians. Recruiting ex-Tokyo keyboard player Lothar Krell, vocalist George Liszt and drummer Fritz Matzka (d. 1989), they selected 11 tracks from the 40 they had written for inclusion on their debut album. Produced by Yes supremo Eddie Offord, this was a highly polished collection, sophisticated but ultimately clinical. It lacked the necessary gusto to give the band a real identity. Kohlmeyer went on to enjoy more success with Roko, while Matzka sadly succumbed to illness shortly after the album’s release.
