Artist Biography by

aka Big Ill The Mack, who first came to prominence in his home-town of Brooklyn, New York, by appearing on a freestyle tape that was circulated after a performance at a Big Daddy Kane birthday party (where he successfully ‘dissed’ both the birthday boy and other ‘sucker MCs’). He made an impressive debut, backed by DJ Al Skratch, with the anthemic ‘Where My Homiez?’ 12-inch for Mercury Records. The track was produced by LG, brother of Easy Mo Bee (Rappin’ Is Fundamental).
