Artist Biography by

Spanish/French descendant Bruno García made his live debut as El Sargento García in 1997 while singing a song called "Salsamania" to celebrate a radio station's anniversary. Combining Afro-Caribbean rhythms and rock, his first record, ¡Que Viva El Sargento!, was released by the independent label Crash. He later signed with Virgin, recording Un Poquito Quema'o, which was produced by Renauld Letaung.
