Panamanian hardcore/punk group Conspiración Piromaniaca was formed in the early '90s after Acid Drunk disbanded. In 1994, helped by Cage's Evan Rodaniche, the rock act recorded a demo called El Carretillo Sucio. A year later, percussionist Tito González joined in. The band had the opportunity to open for Heroes del Silencio in 1996, Paralamas and Def Leppard in 1997. In December of 1998, Conspiración Piromaniaca's self-titled album was released by independent Medallón Cósmico Records.
