As its name implies, BandAdriatica draws the core of its repertoire from Balkan states bordering the Adriatic Sea. Thus, there are echoes of Albania, Bosnia, Croatia and from the western side of the sea, Italy; while Greece, to the south-east of the Ionian Sea, also has its influence. Musicians in the band have included Claudio Prima (organ, vocals), Andrea Perrone (trumpet), Gaetano Carrozzo (trombone), Domenico Zizzi (tuba), Emanuele Coluccia (saxophone), Vincenzo Grasso (clarinet, saxophone), Redi Hasa (cello, bouzouki, bass), and Ovidio Venturoso (percussion). Among others who have appeared with BandAdriatica, in concert and on record, are Alessandra Caiulo, Roberto Chiga, Valerio Daniele, Maria Mazzotta, Giancarlo Paglialunga, Manuela Salinaro and King Naat Veliov.
Through the early 00s, BandAdriatica performed at many music festivals, mainly in Eastern European countries. In addition to performing under their own name, in the mid-00s, BandAdriatica also appeared with Veliov’s Original Kocani Orkestar.
