Artist Biography by

This four-piece band from Edinburgh, Scotland, was accused of attempting to cash in on the indie/dance movement when they stuttered into life in the early 90s. Their act was built around lyricist and vocalist Callum McNair, with a soundscape built on a pop rock beat punctuated by a multitude of samples (similar to EMF and Jesus Jones). The similarity to the aforementioned bands saw the critics overlook their competent but uninspired music. Signed to Epic Records, their debut album included the single ‘Stay People Child’, but their career was short-lived. ex-Win member Ian Stoddart went on to join Captain Shifty.
