AllMusic Review by

As on his first solo album, 2011's Tausend Rote Rosen, ex-Flippers singer Olaf Malolepski (again simply credited as Olaf) doesn't stray too far from the sound of his former band on his second solo release, 2012's Wenn der Anker Fällt. Produced by Joschi Dinier and arranged by Dinier and Reiner Burmann, the record features 15 schlager songs that take the listener on an imaginary cruise around the world. Olaf's daughter Pia guests on the track "Sag Mir Wie Weit Fliegen die Träume."
